Founder and President
In 2009 Brooke participated in a Christmas Angel Tree for the first time. While shopping and wrapping the gift, she could not help but feel over-joyed at the thought of granting this Christmas wish. Reflecting on her own positive experience, she began to think of ways that she could help connect people to other similar opportunities.
Over the next four years Brooke served the Southern Nevada community as a co-founder and member of Pink Hearts, a local community organization which organized Easter basket and gift drives for children in need. While working with Pink Hearts she realized that the people participating were looking for ways to be even more connected to the communities that they served. With this in mind, she decided to create fun, easy and intimate ways for people volunteer and, in July of 2014, she created The Just One Project.
Since that time, The Just One Project has touched thousands of lives. Brooke has actively sought growth of the organization in an effort to maximize its contribution to the Las Vegas Community. She loves creating projects and watching how their implementation impacts the lives of those in need and the volunteers who participate. The success of these projects, which leaves those being served feeling cared for by their community while also bringing joy to the volunteers and sponsors who participate in them, only fuel Brooke’s desire for growth.
Brooke works side by side with her husband, Nicolas, as the CFO of their family business. The two married in 2008, and they have four rambunctious children. Though the Neubauer household can sometimes be messy and loud, she cherishes her role as a wife and mother, and would not have it any other way.
Courtney White is a longtime resident of Las Vegas, since 1984. After attending UNLV, she spent most of her career in the Human Resources and Accounting arenas. Three years ago, she decided she needed a change and became a wedding consultant.
Over the years, Courtney has seen our city grow and change immensely. She feels blessed that she was able to be a part of the particular growth and expansion of a local non-profit, The Shade Tree, for several years. She is also an advocate for the American Heart Association, a cause very close to her own heart.
Courtney is very excited to join The Just One Project. Helping our community and making a positive impact is her passion and she feels that The Just One Project provides these opportunities in abundance.
